Group Financial Controller to an international and listed company within finance and investments

Are you ready to take on a key role at the core of our finance operations? As Group Financial Controller in B2 Impact you will be a part of a highly qualified Group Finance team and report to the Senior Group  Financial Controller. The position has a key role in preparation of consolidated financial statements for the Company. Further, you will be instrumental in the preparation of management reporting, quality assurance of financial reporting from our subsidiaries and resolving industry-specific accounting matters. By partnering with the entire Group Finance Team, you will be support in driving our internal and external reporting processes forward. The position will be based in our attractive head offices in Vika, central Oslo.

Main responsibilities:

• Key contributor in the preparation of consolidated quarterly and annual reports
• Prepare parent company Financial Statements and tax filing
• Perform analytical review and quality assurance of financial reporting from subsidiaries
• Provide guidance and support to finance teams from subsidiaries to resolve issues related to consolidation entries
• Support parent company accounting team on accounting topics
• Support accounting team on developing and maintaining accounting policies and procedures
• Contribute to ESG reporting in accordance with Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD)
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and support in implementing improved practices 
• Liaise with group auditor
• Stay updated on changes in accounting regulations and consolidation methodologies
• Ad hoc projects and analysis

Desired qualifications: 

• Master’s degree in accounting, finance or related field
• 2 - 4 years of experience from audit firms and/or similar position
• Preferably experience with preparation or auditing of financial statements in accordance with IFRS
• Experience with financial reporting software is an advantage (for instance Cognos or similar)
• Experience with BI tools/dashboards, management reporting and ESRS is a plus
• Competence and knowledge in Excel
• Proficient in English, both in writing and verbally
