HELLY HANSEN IS LOOKING FOR AN ACCOUNTING & RISK MANAGER FOR THE GROUP

Helly Hansen is looking for an engaged and professionally oriented Accounting & Risk Manager to strengthen its Group function. The right candidate will play an instrumental role in the Financial Risk Management for the Group and in securing compliance with IFRS and NGAAP standards.

Although your main responsibility will be on accounting policies and financial risk, the role will also be exposed to several areas within Group Finance and be an important discussion partner for the VP Finance and CFO on a wide range of accounting and finance topics, reporting processes and accounting policies. The position is located at Helly Hansen’s HQ in Oslo and reports to VP Finance for the Helly Hansen Group.

Tasks and responsibilities
  • overall responsibility for the Group’s accounting policies and procedures, according to IFRS and NGAAP
  • responsible for financial risk management, including hedge accounting and other accounting related issues related to financial instruments, liquidity and cash
  • assist with the internal control environment for financial risk management
  • assist with consolidation and financial closing for the Group             
  • participate in cross border projects related to accounting, tax, treasury and finance
Qualifications
  • higher degree in accounting, finance or audit, preferably Master’s degree
  • minimum 5 years of relevant experience from auditing, group accounting or treasury
  • solid accounting knowledge in NGAAP and IFRS
  • experience with hedge accounting, FX exposure and treasury will be an advantage
  • high proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • strong written and verbal communication skills in English. Proficiency in Norwegian is preferred
