Neptune Software is an exciting, PE-backed SaaS company on a growth trajectory, supported by leading private equity firm Triton. We offer our customers a platform to develop innovative software solutions that seamlessly integrate with existing systems, empowering businesses to streamline operations and maximize efficiency. We are seeking a Group Financial Controller to join our Finance Team as we continue to scale. In this high-impact role, you will work closely with senior leadership and have the opportunity to shape the company’s financial processes, reporting, and controls. This position reports directly to the Senior Finance Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

• Improve financial processes, internal controls, and reporting routines based on best practice principles, ensuring scalability, efficiency, and compliance
• Drive initiatives to build a strong controlling environment in line with Neptune’s PE-backed growth journey
• Ensure accurate and reliable financial reporting for the group and its subsidiaries, in line with industry standards
• Lead the monthly reporting process to our owners, including preparation of monthly figures in collaboration with the finance team
• Contribute to financial reporting and analysis for group management and senior leadership, providing high-quality inputs to support decision-making
• Liaise with external auditors and financial stakeholders, and support the development of financial policies aligned with Neptune’s growth ambitions

What We’re Looking For:

• A higher education degree in Accounting, Finance, Auditing, or a related field
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in financial controlling or auditing, ideally with exposure to international companies and/or the SaaS sector
• Strong expertise in accounting principles, financial processes, and systems (SAP experience is a plus)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to engage effectively with senior management and external stakeholders
• A genuine interest in continuous improvement in financial systems and processes
