ESG Manager to leading circular tech company

In this role, you will report directly to the Head of Legal and Compliance and will be responsible for facilitating the ESG strategy, integrating it across the organization, preparing for CSRD compliance, and managing the company's sustainability reporting. You will play a crucial role in driving ESG initiatives and activities, ensuring their alignment with the company’s overall objectives. Main responsibilities and tasks:
- Facilitating ESG strategy
- Preparation of the company’s sustainability reporting, ensuring it complies with applicable regulations
- Contribute to the implementation of ESRS/CSRD and the follow-up of the reporting
- Be a driving force for ESG initiatives and activities
- Contribute to the preparation of the company’s annual report and other external reports regarding ESG
- Be a sparring partner on ESG within the organization. Particularly collaborating with the sales and procurement departments to provide support in addressing customer needs.
- Work closely with both internal and external stakeholders contributing to the sustainability report
Qualifications:
- Higher education in economics, finance or environmental sustainability, preferably at the master's level
- 3 - 5 years of relevant experience, preferably from a similar role in a
npublicly listed company, auditing, management consulting or other relevant experience - Strong proficiency in Excel and generally good system understanding
- Experience with project execution and project management
- Familiarity with relevant standards and sustainability reporting such as GRI, GHG, TCFD, CDP, etc.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in both Norwegian and English
